Welcome to My World

I have added walking to my daily fitness routine and wanted to share how it has helped me with reducing my body fat among other great benefits. Walking is underrated and some may think it is not a strenuous form of exercise. But it has helped me reduce my body fat into the single digits and has reduced my belly fat (the most dangerous type of fat). I use to be an avid runner for years until I started having knee issues and fractured my foot - all from running. I absolutely love my walks! It helps my mind and body in combination. I keep my average BPM within the fat burning zone (for me it is 101 to 120 BPM), as not to burn muscle. The inches on my belly seemed to melt away but consistency is the key! Another tip, try doing your walk in a fasted state before eating or drinking anything. If you haven't considered walking - give it a go!!! Happy Fitness!
